When the Universe shuts a door, she opens a window.
We are living in intense times. There is a lot going on in the world to be concerned about. Our country’s economy is taking a down turn, we have a divisive presidential election coming up, we are experiencing more and more results of the ecological crisis every day...and these are just issues resting on the back burners of our lives! Many of us are feeling like we’re swimming upstream just to stay afloat.
But the most chaotic of times usher in the most powerful opportunities for transformation. Every choice you make today counts, and it counts not just for you and your personal future, but for the future of our city, our country and our whole world. When you make a choice in your life that is empowered by your beliefs and values and is pointing in the direction of your dreams, you set in motion a ripple of energy that begins clearing a path. That path is transformation!
All you have to do is know truly in your heart what it is you want and take a baby step towards it!
Your path won’t look like anybody else’s path, because it’s your path for you alone. Stop looking outside of yourself for validation. Instead, look on the inside to your deepest wishes for your own life. Then from those wishes, from those longings in your heart and dreams in your soul, make a choice! Take action! Stand up for yourself even when no one else does!
The world doesn’t offer any promises. The promises lie within you. Base every choice you make on your values and your dreams, and keep walking!
